Charles Leclerc wint GP van Italië 2024 met Ferrari SF-24
Charles Leclerc startte als vierde op Monza. Bij de start klom hij op naar P2 na een incident tussen de McLarens. In ronde 15 ging hij naar harde banden en kwam achter Norris terug op de baan. Piastri maakte pas in ronde 16 zijn stop en verloor daarmee zijn voorsprong.
Leclerc nam in ronde 32 de leiding toen Norris zijn tweede stop maakte. Piastri stopte in ronde 38 en haalde in ronde 45 Sainz in voor P2. Norris passeerde Sainz drie ronden later. Leclerc reed een foutloze stint en hield zijn voorsprong van 2 seconden vast tot de finish.
De SF-24 bewees zich als competitief en betrouwbaar. Ferrari gebruikte een speciale Monza-livery met zwarte accenten. Deze overwinning was Leclercs tweede op Monza, na zijn zege in 2019.
